Wired a panel in a humid basement and got false alarms all week

Had a job down on Maple Street last Tuesday where I installed a DSC panel in this guy's damp basement. Everything tested fine at first, but by Thursday he was getting zone 1 trouble beeps every few hours. Turns out the moisture was messing with my wire connections at the terminals, never ran into that before. Any of you guys use those humidity-resistant terminal blocks or just run the wires through a drier spot first?

Used to think terminal blocks were all the same until I had a similar thing happen in a crawl space last fall. Ended up coating my connections with a little dielectric grease and swapping to sealed blocks, never had the issue again. That moisture in basements can be sneaky like that, totally changed how I prep any low voltage work near the ground.

Honestly, same here. Dielectric grease is a total game changer for damp spots.
