TIL the bank branch I wired in Tulsa still had my old panel stickers from 2019 on the can
Went back last week to add two motions and saw my handwriting right there on the door, kind of weird how fast 6 years goes in this trade. Do you guys peel old labels or leave them for the next person?
Ever walk into a panel and see your own handwriting from years back and just stand there for a sec? Buddy of mine did a full panel swap at a tire shop back in 2017, and when he came back for a service call last year his label maker tape was still on the door, fading but readable. He left it, said it felt wrong to peel off a piece of his own history. I get that, but me, I pull the old ones unless they're still accurate. No point leaving a lie on the can for the next guy to trust.
Man, that hits home @jordan653. I've run into my own old tags before and it's a weird feeling, like past me is standing right there. But you're right, if the info is wrong it's gotta go, no matter how much history is behind it.
