Swapped my go-to panel brand after 8 years of sticking with one

I used to only install DSC panels because that's what I learned on back in 2013 when I started doing residential jobs in Phoenix. Every house got the same setup, same wiring pattern, same programming sequences. But last year a customer wanted a system with better app control and I had to try a Qolsys panel for the first time. The hybrid wireless approach felt weird at first, but after 3 jobs I started liking the flexibility for retrofit homes with no existing wires. Now I mix it up depending on the house age and what the client wants for remote access. Anyone else switch their main panel preference after years of doing it one way?

Totally agree, I did the same thing with Honeywell panels and switching to Qolsys felt like a whole new world for installs.
