Spent 3 hours chasing a phantom zone on a panel in Mesa, turned out the magnet on the back door was 1/4 inch off

Customer kept swearing that door was never opened and the keypad log said otherwise every night around 9pm, so I finally just sat there and watched the gap myself. Anyone else get burned by a reed switch that reads fine on the meter but flakes out when the door frame flexes?
