Old timer at a supply house gave me a tip I still use 10 years later
Back in 2014 I was grabbing parts at ADI in Kansas City and this older installer saw me struggling with a wireless sensor placement. He said 'stop trying to hide it perfectly, just make sure it sees the path someone has to walk.' That little bit about line of sight thinking changed how I approach every job. Anyone else have a random encounter with a veteran that stuck with you?
