My worst day this year was a crawl space job in Everett with a nest of yellow jackets.

I was running wire for a new motion sensor and disturbed the nest, got stung four times before I could back out. Had to call the customer and delay the install by two days for pest control. Anyone have a good method for checking crawl spaces before you go in?

Ugh that sounds like a total nightmare! It's wild how the worst surprises are always in the tightest, darkest spots. I've noticed this happens everywhere now, not just with work. It's like the world is full of hidden problems you only find by accident, and then you're stuck dealing with the fallout. Makes me want to poke every dark corner with a ten-foot pole first.
