Just finished a job in Tempe where the client insisted on a glass break sensor in every room, I thought it was overkill but it actually caught a break-in attempt last night

Honestly, calling it overkill feels wrong to me. If it stopped a break-in, it was just the right amount of security. That's not smug, that's smart planning. People always cut corners on safety until something bad happens. Why is it seen as crazy to actually protect your stuff properly? Would you say the same thing if it was a fire alarm in every room?

Holy overkill that actually worked, lmao. Bet that client is feeling pretty smug right now. "I told you so" never sounded so expensive, but also so right.
