I still think wired sensors beat wireless for most jobs

Everyone pushes wireless these days, but I had a choice on a big house job last month: run wire for 18 contact points or use a wireless kit. I picked the wired system. It took me two full days to fish the lines through the old walls, but now that panel is rock solid. No battery changes, no signal checks, just a clean install. The homeowner was happy to pay for the extra labor to get something permanent. Am I the only one who thinks wireless is just a fix for lazy installs?

Rock solid" is exactly why I still do wired on big jobs. I put in a wired system for a three-story renovation last year and it's been flawless for the owner. That extra day of work pays off for years.

Totally agree, my last wired install is still perfect after five years.
