Took me 3 aircraft to realize people are torque wrenching control cable turnbuckles wrong

i heard some guy at my local shop say the same thing last week. he was going on about how people don't check the friction before torqueing and it messes with the readings big time.

lol honestly I used to blow off stuff like that but hearing it from actual mechanics changed my mind too. Never thought about friction before torqueing until someone explained how much it can throw off the numbers.
