That one shift where I had to sign off three planes in five hours

Last Tuesday, I had a CRJ come in with a faulty bleed valve, a 737 with a cracked windshield, and a Citation with an oil leak all land within 30 minutes of each other. By the time I finished up the last one at 11 PM, I was running on nothing but coffee and spite. Has anyone else had a shift that just kept stacking like that?

Three planes in five hours is rough, but last January I had a Piper Navajo that caught my attention because the oil pressure gauge was bouncing like crazy, then a Baron with radio issues, and a Cessna 172 with a dead battery all hit the ramp within two hours of each other. I always thought I could handle anything after ten years of wrenching, but that night I was double-checking my own paperwork because my brain was fried. That shift definitely made me realize how fast a simple day can turn into a mess.

Man, and I thought my record of two brake jobs and a tire change in one afternoon was bad... at least I wasn't second-guessing my own name on the paperwork, haha.
