PSA: I thought the borescope sales guy at Oshkosh was full of it, but the $40 Amazon one just saved me on a prebuy

I always figured a cheap USB borescope was a toy compared to my old rigid optical one, but I finally caved after a buddy kept pushing me. Last week on a 172 prebuy out at Falcon Field I ran it down cylinder 3 and caught a scuffed exhaust valve the owner swore was fine, and the whole thing took me ten minutes. Anyone else running a cheap scope for cylinder checks or am I late to this party?
