Pro tip: let the senior inspector check your torque seal before you button it up
Got chewed out by a 30-year Boeing guy after I closed a panel on a 737 with a torque stripe that didn't line up with the fastener. Now I call him over first on every job, saves a half hour of rework.

Funny how a little stripe of paint can humble you real fast. I once lined up my torque seal so crooked it looked like a question mark pointing at the fastener. The senior guy just shook his head and said "that's a 'maybe' not a 'yes' for me." Now I practically drag him over by the sleeve before I even grab the torque wrench. Nothing like a 30-year vet giving you the "bless your heart" look to make you check your pride at the hangar door.
