Old timer at the hangar swore by using a dab of grease on the O-ring for those stubborn B-nuts
He said it would stop them from galling up, and after fighting with one on a Cessna 172's fuel line for an hour, I gave it a shot. It spun right on smooth as butter, no leaks after a pressure check. Anyone got other tricks for those finicky fittings?

Wait, oil in the coffee machine?

So you're telling me you actually put oil in the coffee maker? That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, man. I've worked with enough commercial machines to know that oil and coffee equipment do not mix. That stuff will gum up the internal lines, ruin the heating element, and leave you with a rancid taste that no amount of descaling can fix. Coffee beans have their own natural oils, so adding more just creates a nasty sludge. Trust me on this one, you're better off just cleaning the machine properly and using fresh beans.
