Just hit 10,000 wire ties on one engine job
I've been an A&P for 8 years now. Counted up my wire ties on a Pratt & Whitney PT6 overhaul I finished last Tuesday. Hit 10,450 on a single engine. Anyone else ever keep count or just me?

Count me as someone who thinks counting wire ties is a weird flex. Quality over quantity matters more on an engine job, right?

Wait hold on, 10,450 on a single PT6? That's insane. I've done a few of those engines and I always lose count around two or three thousand because it's just too much. @alice_reed47 I get quality over quantity, but when you've got that many loops on a turbine engine you're not just flexing, you're showing insane patience. Were you tying every single clamp and bracket on that bird?
