I used a cheap torque wrench on a Cessna 172's cylinder base nuts last week and it actually held calibration.

Everyone says to only buy the expensive brands, but my Harbor Freight one matched the Snap-on tester at the shop. I'm not saying to cheap out on everything, but maybe the rule isn't so hard and fast. Anyone have a specific job where a budget tool surprised you?

How many cycles on that cylinder since you torqued it? That's the real test.

My old 250 lasted 300 cycles, changed my whole view.
