Why does nobody warn you about silicone liners in air fryers

I bought a set of silicone liners for my air fryer six months ago thinking they'd make cleanup easier, but they completely blocked the airflow and made my fries come out soggy every single time. After spending $15 on three different brands and ruining four batches of chicken wings, I finally figured out they just trap moisture underneath. Has anyone else had better luck with parchment paper rounds instead?

Ditch the liners entirely and just spray the basket with oil.

Yeah I read somewhere that silicone liners are basically steam traps, like they seal too tight against the basket and don't let the hot air circulate properly. A friend switched to those perforated parchment rounds and said his wings came out way crispier, no comparison. Might be worth grabbing a pack just to test it out.
