Vent: My air fryer basket coating started peeling off after only 3 months

I got this air fryer back in June from Target because it was on sale for like 45 bucks. Thought I scored a deal but now the nonstick coating on the basket is literally flaking off into my food. I noticed it last week when I pulled out some chicken wings and saw little black specks stuck to them. At first I thought it was burnt seasoning but then I ran my finger along the bottom and felt rough patches where the coating had bubbled up and peeled. I stopped using it immediately because I don't want to eat that stuff. I've been looking up replacement baskets but they cost almost as much as a whole new air fryer. Has anyone else had this happen with a cheaper model or did I just get a lemon?

Oh man that sucks, I had the same thing happen with a cheap one from Amazon.
