Saw something interesting at the church potluck last Sunday
I went to our church's annual potluck last Sunday and someone brought air fryer buffalo cauliflower bites. They were set up on a little warming tray next to the regular fried chicken. I have to say they were a big hit, especially with the younger folks who are trying to eat better. The lady who made them said she used a basic air fryer she got from Walmart for about $40. She tossed the cauliflower in Frank's RedHot and a little flour before cooking it at 370 degrees for 12 minutes. What caught my attention was how many people asked her for the recipe. I wonder if air fryer dishes are starting to replace the old casseroles at community meals. Has anyone else noticed this shift at gatherings you go to?

Ain’t it funny how fast trends just sneak up on you like that?

Yeah that "sneak up on you" part really gets me. I was still wearing my old skinny jeans last year and suddenly everyone was looking at me funny in them. Finally I just gave in and bought a pair of baggy cargo pants and now I get compliments all the time. Sometimes you just have to let go of what used to be cool and go with the flow. It feels weird at first but once you do it you wonder why you waited so long.
