Saw a weird air fryer hack at a friend's cookout in Phoenix that I'm not sure about
They were cooking frozen fries directly on the basket without any liner or oil, and the cleanup was a nightmare. Has anyone else run into a 'no-oil' tip that just made a huge mess?

Did they at least shake the basket halfway through?

Shake it? They probably just dumped the whole thing in the fryer.

120 degrees in Phoenix and they didn't even use a liner, that sounds like a nightmare.
