PSA: Overcrowding the basket ruins everything

I see so many people piling chicken wings on top of each other and wondering why they come out soggy. You need a single layer with space between each piece, otherwise the air can't circulate. How long did it take you to figure that out?

Watched a video from a food science guy who broke it down with steam patterns - really made the single layer rule click for me. @nathanbennett hit the nail on the head, one bad batch is all it takes to learn your lesson the hard way.

Used to cram them in there because I wanted to cook a lot at once. Totally changed my mind after one soggy batch.
