My roommate's soggy air fryer potatoes taught me a lesson

He keeps crowding the basket so much that nothing gets crispy, just steamed. I watched him dump a whole bag of frozen fries in there last night and they came out limp. The manual for my Cosori says to leave space between items for air flow, which I tested with a single layer of fresh wedges. Night and day difference, they were perfect in 15 minutes. How do you convince someone that less food per batch is actually faster and better in the long run?

My brother does the same thing and it drives me nuts, the single layer rule is gospel.

But is it really worth getting worked up over? It's just a dishwasher.

Honestly this is everywhere, like @river182 said about the single layer rule. People overload washing machines too and then wonder why clothes come out soapy. It's that same rush to get it all done at once that backfires every time.
