My frozen veggie mistake became a family favorite

I used to think frozen veggies would just steam in the air fryer. One time I forgot to thaw some broccoli and tossed it in anyway. To my surprise, it got super crispy and tasted great. Now I always cook frozen veggies straight from the bag. It saves time and comes out perfect.

Your approach with frozen broccoli is spot on. It made me wonder how other veggies hold up. Carrot slices take longer to crisp but end up with a nice sweetness. Cauliflower florets get a similar crunch to broccoli. However, peas and corn tend to pop and dry out too much. Trying different times and temps for each type can really help.

Frozen carrots seemed pointless before, but this changes things.

Yeah the part about peas and corn popping tracks. I read a thing where they said veggies with higher water content basically steam themselves from the inside when you air fry them. That's why they get mushy or explode. Carrots and broccoli work because they're more dense. I tried frozen green beans once and they turned out like sad little leather strips.
