Just read that air fryers can cut cooking oil use by up to 80% compared to deep frying.
Found that stat in a university food science article. Has anyone tried making something that usually needs a ton of oil, like egg rolls, and had it actually work?

My egg rolls last week needed just a light spray of oil to get crispy.

Hate that you had to deal with that, @craig.reese. I've been there with egg rolls that just won't cooperate no matter what you do. A light spray sounds like a good workaround though, better than soaking them in oil and ending up with a greasy mess. Sometimes the simplest fixes are the ones that save the whole meal. Hope the rest of your dinner turned out better than the egg roll situation.

Guess your egg rolls were the only thing getting fried last week.
