Frozen wings from the bag vs. fresh wings in the air fryer. Is the convenience worth the trade off?

I've been team fresh wings for years. Always thought frozen ones would come out soggy or take forever. Last week I got home late and had a bag of frozen party wings in the freezer. Tossed them in at 380 for 25 minutes, flipped halfway. They came out crispy and juicy. Now I'm not so sure fresh is worth the extra prep time of drying and seasoning. Anyone else switch sides on this?

380 for 25 mins with a flip halfway is the magic number for frozen wings, never looking back now.

Same thing happened to me. Had a bag of frozen wings sitting in the freezer for months, figured I'd give them a shot since I was too lazy to defrost anything. Threw them in at 400 for 20 minutes, flipped once, and they came out way better than I expected. The skin got super crispy and the meat was still juicy inside. Now I honestly grab frozen ones more often than fresh because the time savings are real. Just gotta make sure they're patted dry even when frozen to avoid excess moisture.
