Can we talk about how frozen chicken wings turned out better than fresh ones in the air fryer?
I was at a Super Bowl party last Sunday and the host used frozen wings straight from the bag. I figured they'd be soggy or dry but they came out crispy in 25 minutes at 380 degrees. Now I'm questioning why I've been defrosting wings for years. Has anyone else tried frozen wings and gotten better results than fresh?

Right, so the texture thing is what gets me. I did a batch of frozen drums last week and they came out way crunchier than fresh ones i had the night before. Is it because the ice crystals create steam that puffs the skin up or something? I need to know the science behind it cause I'm ready to just keep a bag of frozen wings in the freezer at all times now.
