Can we talk about air frying frozen chicken wings without thawing them first?

I threw a bag of frozen wings right into the air fryer at 400 degrees for 25 minutes like the package said. They came out looking golden but inside they were still borderline raw near the bone. Learned the hard way that you gotta either thaw them out or cook them longer at a lower temp first. Anyone else run into this or got a trick to make frozen wings come out right?

Oh man, I totally feel you! I read somewhere that putting frozen wings in an air fryer is risky cause the outside cooks way faster than the inside, so you gotta knock the temp down to like 360 and add an extra 10 minutes.

Tossed mine in frozen and ended up with smoke detectors going off everywhere

Bet your neighbors thought you were either deep frying or running some kind of science experiment. At least you found out the hard way so the rest of us don't have to. Now you can flex on everyone about your "smoke-flavored" chicken.
