Saw a demo at the Austin library last Tuesday where AI translated a live speaker into 4 languages

I was there for a resume workshop and stayed for the AI thing after, it was wild watching the Spanish speaker hear himself in Mandarin about 2 seconds later. Anyone else mess with live translation tools for real conversations, or does it still feel too laggy to trust?
