Hot take: The worst week of my life was when an AI scheduler totally botched my moving company's calendar
It double-booked three crews for the same day last Tuesday, costing me over $2,000 in refunds and wasted labor. The 'innovation' was supposed to learn our patterns, but it just made a huge mess. Has anyone else had an AI tool fail this spectacularly on something simple?

A podcast I heard said these systems often fail at edge cases, like a last-minute booking change. The AI just follows its training, so it can't handle real-world chaos. Your double-booking story is a perfect example of that gap.

That bit about it being "supposed to learn our patterns" is the real kicker. I read a tech article last week that called this "automation bias," where people trust a system more after it works just once. It makes a mess way harder to clean up.

Blame the training data not the tool. Your company probably fed it messy or incomplete info to start with. Garbage in, garbage out is still the rule for any software.
