Spent $60 on a Midjourney subscription and it totally changed my view

Honestly, I used to think AI art was just a cheap trick. But after paying for a month of Midjourney and spending a weekend trying to get a perfect image of a cyberpunk diner, I saw how much skill it actually takes with the prompts. It's not just typing one word, it's a whole process of refining and guiding. Has anyone else had a project that made them switch sides on this?

You know, I read an article that said good prompting is like giving directions to a blind painter... it's way more specific than @dylan_green58 makes it sound. It's not just asking, it's building the idea step by step.

Spend sixty bucks and a whole weekend just to type words at a bot. That's wild to me. It's still a computer making the picture, not you. Calling it a skill feels like a stretch when you're just asking for things in different ways. I get it can be fun to mess with, but changing your whole view seems like a lot for a fancy search bar.
