Realized I was adding too many weird limbs to my AI art for months
I spent about 6 months making these fantasy character portraits with Midjourney, and I kept wondering why they looked off but I couldn't figure it out. Then my buddy who does actual oil painting looked at one and said 'bro, that arm is coming out of her ribcage, not her shoulder.' He pointed out three more spots where anatomy was just wrong, and it hit me that I'd been ignoring how AI messes up body structure and calling it 'stylized.' Has anyone else had a moment where an artist called you out on something obvious you were missing?

Did you ever notice it in your own work before he pointed it out?

Wait, is that even a bad thing? If someone with more experience points something out, it's usually because it's actually there and worth fixing.
