Guy at the print shop in Dayton told me to crank the AI weirdness up to 11, and the piece he picked was the one that got in
I showed him 2 versions of the same prompt, one clean portrait and one with warped hands and melting background, and he pointed at the messy one and said galleries want the flaws. So I entered both in a local show and the warped one got picked while the clean one sat in the reject pile. Now I am wondering if judges are picking stuff they think looks "hand made" or if the flaws are really the point.

Read somewhere that gallery judges actually scan for "human error" as proof it wasn't a simple copy paste job.
