Walked into an abandoned church in Detroit last weekend and it felt way different than the old factory I explored in Pittsburgh

The church had this eerie quiet that made me stop and think, while the factory just felt like a dirty shell. Does the original purpose of a place change the vibe for you, or is it all just decay in the end?

Decay is just decay" is basically my view on this. An old factory and an old church are both just empty buildings with peeling paint and bad plumbing. The spooky feeling is just your brain making up stories because of what you've seen in movies.
