That whole "too perfect" thing is just part of how people tear down anything that makes them feel average.

Ugh, yes, exactly! It's like people can't stand when someone actually puts in the work and it shows, so they gotta find something wrong with it. I notice this a lot with how people react to moms who seem to have it together... like they'll say she's "trying too hard" or "showing off" when really she's just proud of her kids or her home. It's this weird way of pulling everyone down to the same level instead of celebrating someone's effort. And honestly, I think that kind of jealousy says more about the person saying it than the one they're pointing at.
