Night shots vs daylight shots, quality gap is huge for me
I've been hitting this old textile mill outside Camden for about 6 months now, first few trips I only went during the day. Photos came out fine but the place just looked like a regular building with peeling paint. Last week I stayed until after dark with a cheap headlamp and brought a friend to hold a flashlight. The peeling paint and broken machinery looked completely different, like the shadows gave everything texture. Anyone else finding their better shots happen after sunset or is that just me being new to this?
