My buddy who shoots warehouses in Detroit says the broken windows are the whole point, and I think he's wrong

He keeps telling me to quit looking for intact buildings, because a smashed window tells you what happened there and a clean one tells you nothing. I still think a place that's barely touched hits harder, so which one do you shoot?
