Just realized the old grain elevator in Beatrice beats every trendy spot I've shot, and it only took one trip to see it
Spent two years driving to that overdone mill in Council Bluffs with 40 other photographers before a local guy sent me to a beat up elevator near Beatrice, Nebraska and the light through the busted slats at 7am was unreal. Anyone else got a spot that nobody posts because it looks boring from the road?

How did you get the local guy to hand over that spot? That's the part I can never figure out. Everyone wants to guard their good locations like it's a state secret. Did you just ask around town or did he find you first? I've tried chatting up farmers and gas station folks and usually get a blank stare. The barriers to entry are real when nobody wants to share. Tell me your secret.
