Drove 2 hours to this old mill in Vermont and the gate was padlocked
Found this abandoned wool mill outside Bennington on an old forum, packed my camera bag and drove out there early Saturday, only to find a brand new chain and lock on the gate. I spent 3 hours walking the perimeter looking for another way in, got my boots soaked in a creek, and ended up shooting through a chain link fence from 40 feet away. Does anyone know if there's a trick to getting permission for places like this, or do you just give up and move on to the next spot?
Wait, you actually PAID to get in and they still treated you like that? That's wild, I would've lost my mind right there. Nah, you're right though, some places just don't deserve your money.
