Hot take: vintage Pyrex is way better than new bakeware after I tested both side by side

I always thought people were just nostalgic for grandma's old dishes. But last week I baked two identical banana breads in a 1957 Pyrex bowl and my modern Anchor Hocking one, and the vintage pan baked it evenly while the new one had a burnt edge. Has anyone else found older bakeware actually works different or am I just lucky with this one piece?

My 1960s CorningWare casserole bakes way more even than anything new I've tried too.
