Found a 1953 Sears catalog in my grandma's attic and had to pick between two ads to frame
My grandma passed in February and we finally got to her attic in Akron last weekend. I found a full 1953 Sears catalog in decent shape, minus a water stain on the back 40 pages. I picked the two page spread for the $98 electric range over the $3.49 western flyer bike ad. The stove ad has this whole sales pitch about feeding a family of six without breaking a sweat, and the mom in the drawing looks so tired. The bike ad was cute but the stove one felt more real. Did anyone else inherit a catalog like this? Trying to figure out if I should frame the whole spread or just one page.
