Dropped 30 bucks on a vintage Pyrex set at a garage sale and it's already cracked

Found this perfect turquoise bowl set from '57 at a sale in Akron, thought I scored, but after one hot wash it split right down the middle. Has anyone else had old kitchenware just give up on them like that?

Bet the seller knew '57 Pyrex has that milk glass issue.
